《虚幻勇士》讲述的是凯德学院的4位学生：任杰、陈迪、李奇、尤慧子与邪恶的人工智能程序夏之纳对抗的故事。任杰在离凯德学院不远的一座废弃工厂里发现了一台神秘的超级计算机，并且在好奇心的驱使下开启了这台神秘的超级计算机，之后发现了这台计算机运行着一个被称为兰科(Lyoko)的虚拟世界，并在虚拟世界发现了一位神秘女孩。任杰给她起了一个名字叫Maya，后来Maya从圆塔中得知自己叫董美娃，就在超级计算机被开启后，凯德学院发生了奇怪事件，任杰得知在兰科中还运行着一个被称为夏之纳的人工智能程序，它的目的就是逃离超级计算机并控制全世界，消灭它的办法就是永远的关闭计算机，但是这样做的话董美娃也会消失，任杰不希望这样，他要想办法让董美娃脱离超级计算机，在任杰想办法的这段时间里，夏之纳不断的向地球发动进攻，各种威胁人类生命的事情发生了，就在事情发生的时候，任杰结识了同班同学陈迪，李奇还有李奇在体育馆认识的尤慧子，他们共同抵抗着夏之纳的进攻，为了阻止夏之纳对地球的威胁，董美娃必需进入由夏之纳启动的圆塔中，并把它锁定，只有这样才能阻止夏之纳的攻击。在兰科中夏之纳制造了许多怪兽（攻击性程序）阻止董美娃进入圆塔，陈迪，李奇，尤慧子则通过扫描仪数字化后进入兰科帮助董美娃消灭怪兽。任杰则在现实世界这边操作着计算机并给在兰科的他们提供各种战术信息，在成功锁定圆塔后，任杰会启动时间倒转程序让时间回到夏之纳发动攻击之前的状态，但前提是在夏之纳发动攻击时没有人类伤亡，时间倒转程序并不能让死去的人复活。
在虚拟世界兰科中陈迪，李奇，尤慧子分别拥有100点生命点数，一旦生命点数归零，则扫描器程序会自动把他们实体化并送回现实世界，但董美娃的生命点数一旦归零则会被删除而不复存在（仅限前2季，第三季开始董美娃可以自由进出兰科），这会在故事后面发生重大改变

The Lyoko Warriors have their work cut out for them as XANA gains power, with an ability to possess humans and create even more mayhem on Earth.

    There are new things in store for the gang on Lyoko: Jeremy has programmed some high-performance vehicles and XANA has some new monsters.

  2. 2. Unchartered territory

    While investigating the Hermitage -- the house where Aelita has had visions -- Jeremy discovers that it belongs to a Mr. Franz Hopper.

  3. 3. Exploration

    Now that our heroes have discovered Sector 5, they decide to go and explore it in the hopes of unearthing some of its secrets.

  4. 4. A Great Day

    XANA has gained control of the supercomputer's "return to the past" program. Our heroes realize that Sissi has been possessed by XANA.

  5. 5. Mister Puck

    Aelita has been plagued by increasingly frightening visions. For a few days now, she hasn't been able to sleep a wink.

  6. 6. Saint-Valentine's Day

    It's Valentine's Day! Yumi and Ulrich get into a fight about William. Aelita receives a pretty necklace that she thinks is from Jeremy.

    Aelita prepares to DJ a dance party at school. Meanwhile, XANA plans to go after her.

    Today at Kadic Academy, the eighth and ninth graders have driver's ed. Ulrich and William both want to impress Yumi and are at each other's throats.

    XANA uses Kiwi to spread a virus that turns people into zombies, and the zombies are all obsessed with killing our heroes.

  15. 15. Ultimatum

    XANA has possessed the headmaster. Mr. Delmas kidnaps Yumi and Odd and gives Jeremy an ultimatum.

  16. 16. A Fine Mess

    At the end of another successful mission on Lyoko, our heroes rematerialize in the scanners. But something's not quite right.

  17. 17. Xana's Kiss

    Love fever has taken over the Academy! First, Jeremy kisses Heidi! Then, Yumi kisses Mathias!

  18. 18. Vertigo

    Feeling humiliated after gym class, Ulrich goes off to brood in the woods -- and that's when XANA decides to attack.

    Using a national television relay station to its advantage, XANA sends specters flowing out of antennae and transmitters all over the city.

  20. 20. Déjà Vu

    Once again, Aelita is plagued by strange visions that seem related to a past she doesn't recognize. It's one of XANA's schemes!

  21. 21. Tip-Top Shape

    It's time for the annual physical at Kadic Academy! XANA possesses the school nurse and captures Aelita.

  22. 22. Is anybody out there ?

    When Sissi hears strange noises coming from the boiler room, she is convinced that Kadic Academy is haunted.

  23. 23. Franz Hopper

    A strange man turns up at the computer lab claiming to be Franz Hopper. Our heroes can't believe their eyes.

  24. 24. Contact

    Our heroes are doing battle with Sissi, who's acting strange. Could XANA be controlling her?

  25. 25. Revelation

    To make decrypting Franz Hopper's journal easier, Jeremy decides to activate a tower once more.

  26. 26. The key

    Thanks to Franz Hopper's journal, which the friends have finally deciphered, Jeremy understands how Aelita is tied to XANA.
